We often suffer from this case that this title
indicates to it; so there are a lot of persons who ask the same question “why
does my diet fail?” so I repeat here what I said in the previous article that
we are responsible for the negative outcomes that we get because of our bad
habits and behaviors, therefore, I will continue mentioning the points that
should be avoided to get a successful and effective diet, subsequently, we can
reach our aim and enjoy our slim body. Read the following negative beliefs and
try to stay away from it.
1 - Diet is a temporary condition
The most of people who follow diet to lose their
weight think that their diet is a temporary condition that should continue for
limited period, in addition, they believe that the food which they eat is an exception
and they will retrieve their previous approach and habits someday. It is very
dangerous belief because it makes us living in abnormal lifestyle and waiting
the proper time to enjoy our natural life after achieving our aim. Now, we must
change this idea and make the current diet our natural approach. We ought to
think that this food becomes a part of our lifestyle and it is my normal habit
to eat such types of food. This modified belief will play a key role in improving
our behaviors and contribute to adapting quickly with the diet.
2 - The practice of undesired sport
The sport is an essential item in any healthy
lifestyle, so it is natural to practice some exercises or any kind of physical
activities to lose our overweight and have slim body. However, we resort
sometimes to practice sports that are undesired for us, leading to give up and
stop eventually. Subsequently, try to play your favorite sport in order to
continue playing it constantly without feeling boring.
3 - Focusing on the final goal
Some people are used to focusing on the final goal
as they think that it can motivate them to achieve it quickly, but in fact it
is wrong idea because when somebody see to his final goal constantly and he
still stand in the start point, he will watch a long road and a lot of barriers
that make his challenge very difficult. Consequently, it is better to divide
the big and final goal into small and short steps that help us to realize our
goal gradually and without feeling boring or disappointing, but, on the
contrary, it will encourage us to overcome the next stage depending on our
victory that we achieved in the previous one.
These points present some negative
beliefs that forestall us to live without healthy problems, so we should
